The service was exceptional, especially from the general manager who went above and beyond to assist with various needs. I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were a bit like smoke with a comfortable bed, soft pillows, and good sheets, but they smelled like cigarettes and were rather musty. The service, from the time we checked in until we checked out, was extremely helpful and friendly. The location was very nice, close to restaurants, attractions, and the Augusta Civic Center. The dining experience, with a good selection including make-your-own waffles, was awesome during my 2-week stay. The facilities overall were functional, but the lack of some amenities could have been improved.
